Zonal Business Manager is a managerial position who will be responsible for promoting & selling Branded Formulations ( Pharmaceuticals ) to Medical Super Specialists of Nephrology , Kidney Transplant Surgeons, Liver Transplant Surgeons and Hepatologists, Rheumatologists engaged in clinical practice at various Hospitals , Institutions , nursing Homes & Clinics etc. who will be assigned a front line team of BDE/ BDMs( Business Development Executives/ Managers).
His job is to critically and continually study the market scenario for the above super speciality segment with deeper understanding and knowledge of customers , Clinicians ,supply chain management which is critical for business . His approach should be to facilitate his team to do a better job and provide them on the job training and guidance with adequate monitoring of the efforts and deliver results in terms of quantitative and qualitative objectives.
Should possess high degree of communications skills and ability to build quick relationship with customers and people with ease. Besides candidate should be highly persuasive and a go getter for faster impact on the customers and creating a motivating environment for his team.
Should have experience in the above therapeutic segments and ability to faster adaptation to the new business environment and accept challenges Should be able to identify the customer needs and have sharp business acumen with team building approach.
Candidate should have at least a bachelor’s degree preferably in Pharmacy/ Science .But candidate with graduation in other discipline is also acceptable provided he has experience in the super-specialty segment with relevance for atleast 8- 10 years.
The job involves interaction with prospective and existing clients and his team as well as Head office on regular basis and he should be ready to take up extensive travel at local Headquarter towns , Upcountry and outstation towns and candidate should be physically and mentally prepared for the same.
Candidate will also need to appoint / deal with supply chain partners like distributors / Retailers , Govt .Institutions and hospital pharmacies to make the brands available to cater to the prescriptions from Doctors on a regular basis. He will also be required to inculcate discipline in the team and monitor their reporting efficiently with a team building approach to keep the team highly enthusiastic at all times.
